Sooooo I had about a zillion different ideas for how this birthday blog blah blah was going to go depending on what song was playing. But the winner is…………. A GIFT FOR ME!!
Now, this seems too easy, but here is the birthday gift to myself.
While my son thinks I am in the kitchen creating a feast, I am actually orchestrating a plan…
To create the wildest introduction to my birthday at midnight.
But, of course there has to be a victim of sorts. My poor unsuspecting son… oh yes my friends. At the stroke of midnight, I will give him a glitter shower under the light of a random red police siren light that I found on top of the fence by our dumpster. (now cleaned appropriately) meant to be! A nice fan blast for the glitter, and some loud music courtesy of my dear friend Brien! Thank you Brien!!! You make literally every day of my life full of great sounding music!!
So this is the gift I give myself this year. One of the wonderful joys of being a parent is the pure joy your children bring to your life….in one way or another…. Hee heee heeee.
